1. Reply to this post, and I will pick five of your icons.
2. Make a post (including the meme info) and talk about the icons I chose.
3. Other people can then comment to you and make their own posts.
4. This will create a never-ending cycle of icon glee...

My icons are all over at my Inksome account; [livejournal.com profile] multiclassgeek chose:

I did a random Google search for 'hugging' images and found this. It's so cute!! I have lots of hugging icons over at my Inksome account. ETA: it's by azuzephre - original here. Thank you, [livejournal.com profile] wicked_vasquez

Inksome was originally Scribblit and I was a beta-tester. Beta-testers all had numbers, and when we changed our usernames from 'test[number]' to names we'd chosen ourselves, many of us created icons which referenced our previous tester numbers. ETA: Translating tester numbers into periodic table atomic numbers was a popular choice - my number, 57, turned into Lanthanum. (I also did a Wiki search on 57 and found Agent 57 from Danger Mouse! \o/)

This icon is part of a fabulous series by [livejournal.com profile] thefunkyicon. I adore this kind of anthropomorphisation of concepts.

Feminism / civil rights movement / chemistry pun geekery. I'm not a chemist, but all the same this joke is too good not to use :-D ETA: also by [livejournal.com profile] thefunkyicon.

This one's by [livejournal.com profile] noldo_icons. Not only is it another example of anthropomorphisation of concepts, it also reflects some of the key figures/concepts of the Feri tradition.

That's me, then; anyone else want to play?

I've been enjoying the fest offerings so far, especially at [livejournal.com profile] hd_holidays.

And this? Best Icon Evah:

(Not mine - found via [livejournal.com profile] ambersnake ETA: created by [livejournal.com profile] mortenavida using text from a post by [livejournal.com profile] opiumgaze - thanks to [livejournal.com profile] wook77 for the info.)

[livejournal.com profile] jennavere directed my attention to Jeremy Dufour as a dead ringer for Draco. Isn't he just? This to me looks just like Draco would look in a moment of trying to look insouciant following his traumatic sixth year at Hogwarts ::directs your attention to icon attached to this post::

And I do think Draco is an innocent at 17 in canon, more so than almost any of the other characters, being a romantic at heart (in the broadest sense).

Just went on a spree in my user icons. I put up some of the new ones I've made recently and one I found but can't credit (sorry! I'd love to, if anyone knows who the creator of the icon that comes with this post is, please let me know so I can do the decent thing). I've just kept one of my old 'flamewarrior' icons, so that's five new icons ::beams::

lookee, lookee!

Been offline for a while. Done a bit of writing (but nothing finished - still working on the next part of Memories and Secrets plus some more challenge/gift/prompt fics). Also made some icons from GoF screencaps.

These are rated G:

These are conceivably R and as such behind a cut )

I have no intention of getting a paid account for fanning in, so please, take, use and credit.
